Before first use

This portable ice maker employs a fully automated control system and an advanced microcomputer to produce ice efficiently and conveniently. The ice-making process is fast and easy. The only steps required are to fill the water reservoir, plug the power cord into an outlet, and press the ON button. The device also allows the user to choose between two ice cube sizes by pressing the SELECT button. The compressor will remain inactive for 3 minutes when the device is turned on for the first time or during ice-making cycles.

There are displays that let you know when the reservoir needs to be filled with water and when the storage basket is full of ice. Additionally, the ice maker is equipped with safety features that help prevent accidental damage by turning off the machine automatically when necessary.

Please read carefully.

  1. During use or transport, the ice maker cabinet's incline angle shouldn't be greater than 45 degrees. Never flip over the ice maker. This could result in improper operation of the compressor or cooling system. Please let the fluids in the compressor enough time to settle before moving or relocating the ice maker. Please wait two hours after the machine has been installed in the right location and leveled before using the icemaker for the first time.
  2. Please ensure the icemaker is level and on a stable table or platform to avoid malfunction.
  3. The machine must be placed on a dry and level surface with sufficient ventilation, far from heat sources such as ovens, heaters and corrosive gases. Leave an 8-inch clearance on all sides of the icemaker for proper ventilation.
  4. Do not fill the water reservoir with hot water. This may damage the icemaker. It is best to fill the water reservoir with water of room temperature or lower.

How to use the Ice maker

  1. Make sure the Water Tube Screen is installed and that the Drain Plug underneath the front of unit's is closed.
  2. The green power indicator light will flash when you plug the Ice Maker into a wall socket (approximately every 5 seconds).
  3. Remove the Ice Basket by opening the Cover.
  4. Fill the water storage tank. NOTE: Do not fill the Water Reservoir (Water tank) above the MAX water level mark at the back.
  5. Close the Cover after replacing the Ice Basket.
  6. The green indicator light will continue to be on if you press the power button. Press the Select Button until the light appears to switch between the small or large ice of sizeEnsure that the Drain Plug underneath the front of the unit is closed and the Water Tube Screen is in place.
  7. Depending on the ice size that is chosen, the first ice production cycle will run between 8 and 13 minutes. Water is injected into the Water Tray, which is located below the Evaporator Fingers, to begin the ice-making process. Ice develops on the evaporator fingers over the following 8 to 13 minutes. The Ice Tray will tilt backward after this is finished, draining the remaining water back into the Water Reservoir. The ice is then shoveled into the ice basket by the ice shovel after being released from the evaporator fingers. Once the new cycle has begun, the Ice Tray will automatically reposition itself beneath the Evaporator Fingers.
  8. When the ice basket is full, the "Ice Full" LED light will turn on and the ice maker will immediately halt the ice-making process. Use the Ice Scoop to carefully remove the ice from the Ice Basket. The Ice Maker will automatically resume creating ice after the Ice Basket has been emptied and the Cover has been closed. IMPORTANT: To resume the ice-making function, wait three minutes and then push the Power Button.
  9. When there is no more water in the water reservoir, the 'Add Water' LED light will illuminate and the ice-making cycle will automatically stop. once on the power button (the Power Button will flash every 5 seconds). Remove the Ice Basket, then fill the Water Reservoir with water. NOTE: Do not fill the Water Reservoir above the MAX water level mark at the back. Close the Cover after replacing the Ice Basket. Important: To resume the ice making function, wait three minutes and then push the Power Button.
  10. Transfer the ice you've just completed producing to a freezer. NOTE: Depending on the ambient temperature, the ice will stay in the ice maker for up to 18 hours. By pushing the Power Button, the ice-making process can be stopped. Remove the device's plug from the electrical outlet. Follow the instructions in the Care and Cleaning section after opening the Cover and letting the Ice Maker reach room temperature.

Maintenance, care and cleaning

  1. Stop the Ice Making Cycle by pressing the Power Button and the green LED light will go out. Unplug the Ice Maker from the wall outlet. Allow the unit to warm up to room temperature.
  2. If the Water Tray is not in the vertical position behind the Evaporator Fingers, gently push the Water Tray back so that all water drains into the
    Water Reservoir.
  3. Open the Drain Plug to drain out excess water.
  4. Remove the Ice Basket.
  5. Remove the Water Tube Screen and rinse under running water.
  6. Clean the Ice Maker interior with a soft cloth dampened in warm water and vinegar. Rinse with a clean damp cloth.
  7. Replace the Drain Plug and the Water Tube Screen. Wash the Ice Basket and Ice Scoop in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  8. Clean the exterior of the Ice Maker with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild dishwashing soap, if necessary.
  9. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not clean the Evaporator Fingers.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Problem Possible Causes Solution
“ADD WATER” indicator light turns on. Low water level or lack of water. Add water and the icemaker will operate automatically.
There is no indication on the control panel. Power plug disconnected Check that the plug is plugged into the electrical outlet.
“Ice Full” and “Add Water” indicators light up simultaneously. Electrical Power Surge or there may be air in the lines or the lines are blocked. The water tank cannot detect water level. Turn off the icemaker, pull out the electric plug, fill it with water if needed, replace the plug and then restart the unit. or Inspect relative parts; remove the drain cap on
the back of the unit and drain out a small amount of water. Replace the drain cap and attempt to use the unit again.
or
Check if ice is blocking the ice pusher. Turn off the unit; let the ice melt and restart.
The “Ice Full” indicator light is on. The ice basket is full. Remove ice from the ice storage basket to make more.
The unit does not operate. Power is not being supplied to the unit. The ambient temperature or the water temperature is too high. Plug the unit into a standard 110/120 Volt, 60 Hertz power source. Please run the icemaker
in temperatures below 90°F and/or pour colder water into the water reservoir.
Ice blockage. No ice is being made. Making ice takes too much time. Turn off the machine. Start the machine after the ice block melts. Or change the size selector to small ice cubes.
The icemaking cycle seems normal but no ice is produced. There is refrigerant leakage. A pipe in the cooling system is blocked. Consult a qualified technician or call Customer Service.
